Meet and Greet.

Once your application is processed we will set up a meet and greet at our Chicopee location.

 

Home Visit

Our dedicated volunteers bring the adoptable pet to your home to be sure that the pet will do well as your new family member.  At this time, if all goes well, an Adoption Contract will be signed.

Robin, Foster Coordinator

Robin has been with us since 2009. She started her rescue work helping Pit Bulls in FL in '98 and moved to MA in '09 to help find foster homes for our dogs and support us financially with all of our vet costs. Her knowledge of rescue makes her a true asset to our organization.

Verda, Office Volunteer

Verda is another one of the dedicated members of our tireless team who helps us keep our paperwork organized and our office running.

Maria, Director/Co-founder

Maria has spent her life helping and interacting with animals.  She was active in 4-h as a youngster and is dedicated to helping pets in need throughout the community.  Shawn and Maria Co-Founded Rainbow Rescues in 2008 to make the world a better place One Adoption At A Time.

Kathy, Office Manager

Kathy started with us in 2013 and has quickly become the backbone of our office team.  Kathy is a dedicated and important member of our organization who single handedly manages our day to day office operations.  Without Kathy our applications would never get published and our appointments would never be made.

Adoption Process

Shawn, Ops Manager/Co-founder

Shawn has spent a lifetime helping and interacting with animals and pets of all kinds and sizes.  Currently he is an Animal Control Officer for a local town and is an integral part of the day to day operations involved in rescue.  As a young man Shawn was constantly bringing lost and injured animals home for help... He hasn't changed since then!

Meet Our Team Of Volunteers

Taylor, Training Manager

Taylor started with us in 2013 as an office volunteer.  She quickly took over duties related to dog training and dog walking for our organization.  She now is an indispensable part of our team and helps with everything from adoption events, office work, assessments, and training.

Rainbow Rescues is a foster based, volunteer run, Animal Rescue Organization with an active 501c3 status. 

 

We have a dedicated and loving group of volunteers and foster homes that allow us to do the wonderful things we do. 

 

Our goal is to ensure our pets are in happy and loving new homes that will continue to love and care for them as they deserve.
